The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That should round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
